simple question: for the AOS interview, should I make copies of what I'm bringing? I mean, are they gonna keep documents for themselves?

YES, definitely bring copies of what you are bringing to USCIS. During our interview they asked to keep copies of some of the joint documents. We prepared a binder and had copied of everything in case they wanted to kepe anything. I guess it is better to be over preapred.
