One small suggestion - if you HAVE a political topic, be certain to INCLUDE any political things ABOUT IT - some examples:

-MoveOn PAC said, "..." so Sen. Lugar voted NO on S.B. 114, which then affected the short term funding for the Lake Shumdy project, thus resulting in 10,000 tree frogs dying over the weekend.

--La Raza funded over 200K to the Hispanic Caucus in the House of Representives last quarter, and the Dream Act was still overturned...

I only ask that you make it political with cause and effect - so that it's clearly political to the majority of non-political ppl that browse through the P & R forum. It's not that difficult to get the connection, I know you can do it !

but - your particular 'examples' of 'existing policy' really weren't examples of existing policy - I ask that you work a bit harder on it, to clearly identify that is IS existing policy. (If it's a law already, it's way past the policy stage, so bring up some of the prior debate whilst it was still up for the vote, there ya got it covered)

Darnell, you are aware that you are only an organizer, not an admin on this site right? Your job is to move threads to the appropriate forum as defined by the site Admin, Captain Ewok, NOT to interpret where things should go according to Darnell.

Darnell, it's not an oxymoron, we need a competent organizer who is familiar with politics and religion, seeing as you are incapable of discerning what politics are. Plain and simple, you're not doing your job properly. You are using the additional abilities that an organizer gets to impose your personal will upon visajourney. Get your own site, or learn how to actually organize.

This is not going to end well. I can tell.

I don't see the point in continuing to argue this with Darnell. I pasted his 'definition' and he confirmed that is the definition he's using.

At this point, the only thing left is for Darnell's boss (Ewok or any of the mod team) to weigh in and tell us whether Darnell's 'definition' of politics is indeed what they want to see enforced by organizers. In the extremely likely event that they don't weigh in, I expect to see many more moved threads in the future

The thing is, its pretty clear Darnell is just being half-witted on purpose. Why dig through PR and move something thats nearly a month old....after there are complaints about thread moving.
