Politics & Religion Organizer Needed

I have noticed a series of threads moved from the Politics & Religion subforum recently that had no business being moved. I can only surmise that the organizer doing this is not familiar with politics or religion. Here are two examples today of erroneously moved threads

While an article regarding illegal immigration can be construed as either an general immigration news, if you read this thread, which was moved, it has a decidedly political nature to it.

We need orgaznizers who will appropriately move threads based on their logical place on the forum.

It really seems like one person going out of their way to stifle posting in Off Topic and Politics & Religion.

I guess now, threads must include a preamble of sorts wherein you must justify how and why your thread is political or religious in nature. It will still be subject to the whims of of certain organizers.

alas - by the time it's POLICY, it's NOT political.

Sure - was political PRIOR to becoming policy, but after declared policy? NOPE, not political any more.

It is actually quite common for political forums and websites to include conversation about existing policy. Darnell seems to not realize this, or does not care. He's a one man army on a idiosyncratic mission to reshape this little corner of the Internet in his own vision.

Yup, that's how it rolls.

One small suggestion - if you HAVE a political topic, be certain to INCLUDE any political things ABOUT IT - some examples:

-MoveOn PAC said, "..." so Sen. Lugar voted NO on S.B. 114, which then affected the short term funding for the Lake Shumdy project, thus resulting in 10,000 tree frogs dying over the weekend.

--La Raza funded over 200K to the Hispanic Caucus in the House of Representives last quarter, and the Dream Act was still overturned...

I only ask that you make it political with cause and effect - so that it's clearly political to the majority of non-political ppl that browse through the P & R forum. It's not that difficult to get the connection, I know you can do it !

but - your particular 'examples' of 'existing policy' really weren't examples of existing policy - I ask that you work a bit harder on it, to clearly identify that is IS existing policy. (If it's a law already, it's way past the policy stage, so bring up some of the prior debate whilst it was still up for the vote, there ya got it covered)

idk Darnell - you might be taking organizerhood of OT/PR too seriously. Especially for someone who thinks people should move on after their respective visajourneys are complete (you know - the peeps who predominately hang out in OT/PR). It also seems like you are going out of your way to grab and move these specific threads - even old ones!

IMO - this is an oxymoronic label 'Politics & Religion Organizer' as any Organizer is not limited to forum..
