I got my visa but YELLOW PACKAGE WAS ALREADY OPENED

I remember I have read some similiar situations here, and they got another package from the consulate, that you should be fine.

i contacted to the consulate they told me just put a note in the package that was already opened when u received it.I cant go to the consulate bec its far away but i will send it with the ups then they will reseale it for me and send it back to me..

I hope this is going to work. they also told me it wont take long we will send it back right away.

My wife had issues with the infamous yellow envelope as well. In her case, when she called the consulate’s office they instructed her to bring her envelope and return to the embassy. There was a specific department for this occurrence within the embassy. Therefore, she did not have to wait in a long line. It is far better to have the package re-secured versus take a chance at your POE!

I will send my package to the consulate tomorrow with the ups...

I asked them if they need my passport and visa they said we dont...

so i m just going to send the whole yellow package

Just a suggestion, if it were my packet I would hand carry it in, and hand carry it out. This is what my wife did with our yellow envelope. Then again, this would depend on how your local embassy handles such. I’m sure all will be fine, and you can be assured that your envelope will be secured.

yes i would have to carry it in my hand but i dont want to be in trouble while getting entry to the usa at POE so its better way to let the local consulate to know that yellow envelope was already opened when i received it then i called to the embassy the officer told me that they often have the same problem and send it us to back then we will reseal it and send it to you back at the same day so it seems it wont take long time but the thing i asked if they also need my passport he said we dont need it..

do i still have to send my passport ? they already have all information of my case

i have sent my package with ups the consulate took it on thursday from the curier ..

how long it will take them send it back to me...

they just said at the same day but how do i know they already sending the package to me ? bec i have no tracking number.

I called to the ups office if they already get a package from the colsulate that having my name on it.. but not yet

i know its early to worry about but what if they lose all of my package then what!! ??
