i haven't received the interview date yet.

after NOA2, in about 2 to 4 weeks your petition will be assigned a case number by the NVC. you can call the NVC for the case number. a snail mail should be sent to you with it. after being assigned a case number, an electronic file of your petition will be sent to the Embassy. it will take about a week for the physical petition to arrive at the Embassy. once it does you will be put on que for an interview schedule. right now they are saying it's approx. 120 days fom receipt of the petition to have an interview scheduled.

when the interview is scheduled, about 4 to 8 weeks before it, your fiance will receive the Fiance Visa Appointment Package. it will have the appointment letter, DS- 156, 156k, 157 forms in it. a $100 visa application fee needs to be paid at a bank listed in the package. believe the fee for the medical exam is $95.

it should be done at least a week before and not more than a month from the interview date. your fiance has to attend a CFO Seminar before departure. it can be done at any time.

here's a useful link to embassy website if you want to see what the Fiancee Visa Appointment Package looks like.
