Do you care what is usual?

Surely all that matters is what would happen in your case. There was a person on another board who got an E1 with a false claim to US Citizenship on his records. Never say never.

And it would depend on individual facts.

If given the choice I would suggest applying for a Visitor Visa (if you need one)before filing I 130.

I see your point. The denial of the visitor visa will not affect the F2A, correct?

Is it normal to be denied entry to the US? I heard ppl talking about it but wasn't sure.

60,000,000 visit every year, give or take.

I do not know how many try and fail, I would guess not a lot comparatively.

You will inevitably come across the negative stories, how many of those 60,000,000 are going to join a board like this and say the visited the US with no issues?

I was afraid she will get rejected, but now I think it won't affect the F2A visa, so why not give it a try, at least she got some experience for interviewing ... lol

Not sure yet, gonna discuss it with her...

Hi guys, I was told yesterday, while I130 pending, your wife or husband can apply for F1 student visa to come to US. Any thoughts? Thanks

not a good try. I was refused before we file I-130. On the form it does ask you if you have fiance or husband in usa..You cant lie
