Question about #21 on I-864

This question concerns household size. question 21 asks you to fill out several lines which I filled out as follows:

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit: a. enter the number from line 10: 1

Person not sponsored on this affidavit:

Yourself: 1 (this is already marked on form)

If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse: 1

Then they ask to ADD all these lines togetther which gives my household size as 3????

This makes no sense!! I think I am filling something out incorrectly or misreading the form

Just answered my own question by googling. c=0 if your spouse is the one you are sponsoring.

BUT: new question! If my parents are going to be joint sponsors but not actually make their income available to me via the I-864A do I need to put them in line g?

Yes question 21 c is for if you have a spouse already living in your household. In your case since your spouse is the one your sponsoring then he/she is not currently a member of your household so should be 0. Basically you get yourself and anyone living with and dependant on you. Your spouse is counted on line 10 where you total the number of people you are sponsoring.

Only if you share the same address. If they aren't living with you then they aren't part of the same household so they don't get added in for line G.

They are not living with me, but I use their address for all my correspondence concerning the visa application since I'm abroad.
