This thread is AWESOME.

My favorite pie is apple a la mode. But I like spicy pumpkin when it's in season...Oh, and I ADORE lemon meringue if it's not too heavy on the meringue...and key lime can be good. When I was a kid I loved the Baker's Square Peanut Butter Cup pie... Most fruit fillings are actually delicious.

Oh did I mention I'm on a diet right now? Is it, um, obvious?

salty ones

Palm heart, shrimp and chicken

sweety ones

coconut, cherry and passion fruit

it is different here :P

That is the single most MESSED UP thing about Brazil. ;)

yeah when nessa told me about eating palm heart....i was like.......you eat trees?

Better than those empanadas with rolled up chicken-goo inside. Blechh. Viva la pie with sweet stuff inside.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
