Hi Everyone,

I would like to know if the fact the person put none as present occupation in the form could bring any problem for her interview. I'm not studying because we got approved this semester. So my present occupation is none. Do you guys know about it? Did you guys hear about the same situation? And what do you guys think?

* One more question on the DS 156 form question number 30 Have you ever been issued a visa to U.S? Should I put my visa there and also my visa extension. (my extension is a DS paper). What do you guys think about it?

Any Help will be really helpful. I'm totally lost about this 2 questions.

Thank you so much for any help already,

IMO, "unemployed" might be better to write than "none."

If you have ever been issued a visa to the US, then you absolutely say yes. As for the extension, I don't if you would list that or not since it's an extension of an already issued visa.

First of all, who are you talking about having no occupation? The petitioner (USC) or beneficiary?

If the petitioner has no occupation (and thus, no income) - yes, that can certainly be a problem.

So I should write unemployed instead of none,hm ok. About the second question anyone here knows if I need put about visa extension on the form DS 156 or it's not necessary, because I have no idea and my interview is very soon.

Please if someone knows about it answer. Thank you so much for who helped me already,

Thanks, but I was talking about another Visa I had in the past and the extension I had for the same one. By the way if you have the same doubt that I had about the extension I sent an e-mail to the consulate and the extension was not necessary on that form. I will just take to the interview in case the consul ask about it.

Thanks everyone!
