Members can now "watch" countries and will be notified via email when that country has a consulate information update or a new review added. You can watch/unwatch from various country pages (portal, consulate info, consulate reviews). This feature is very similar to watching a timeline (feature added a few months ago).

I noticed the watch feature this morning, but can't find the "view other country portals" that was in that position taken by "watch". For those of us in the UK, we often check out four portals--UK, England, Scotland, and Wales. There are four portals that have the same consulate and share the same issues. Would it be possible for anyone listing one of those four countries to be redirected into the same portal. Or if not, how do I find them separately?

Thanks.

I added the link back to the panel at the left. I will try to make a better solution to your issue -- ideas welcome!

Thanks. We discussed this in the UK forum last November, but I don't know if Heather ever brought it to your attention.

That's what made me realize how useful the portals are. The consensus seemed to be that people liked their country flags but didn't mind if each of those dumped into one big UK portal. Is it possible for England, Scotland, Wales, and the United Kingdom (and Isle of Man?) to share one portal page. As it is right now I can't see people from England living near me, the newest members, or approvals because I changed from England to United Kingdom during the discussion in that thread. Looking at another portal doesn't show anything but member posts. My home portal information stays the same. I'd like to see the other things without having to change my country if that's possible.

Okay, I take back part of what I said. It does show newest members and latest approvals when I go to the England portal. But it would still be cool to see everybody who has a London interview or approval all in one list.
