HI ALL,

I WILL ATTEMPT TO KEEP THIS AS STRAIGHT FORWARD AS POSSIBLE.

I AM A U.S. BORN U.S. CITIZEN. I HAVE RESIDENCES IN BOTH U.S. AND IN CANADA AND CAN LIVE

IN EITHER COUNTRY LEGALLY, HOWEVER MY GIRLFRIEND/FIANCEE, WHO IS A CANADIAN BORN

CANADIAN CITIZEN, CURRRENTLY LIVES IN CANADA. I AM IN CANADA WITH HER. WE WANT TO GET MARRIED. IN ONE YEAR WE WANT TO LIVE IN THE STATES AND GO TO SCHOOL AND WORK THERE.

QUESTION: WHICH IS FASTER TO GET DONE? FILE A 129F AND GET MARRIED IN THE STATES ASAP

OR GET MARRIED IN CANADA ASAP AND FILE A I130 AND THEN A K3. WHICH IS FASTER?

THANKS MUCH

Much depends on what is important to you both and on your circumstances. General Comparison of the Various Petitions/Visas

Suggest as you are a resident of Canada as well, that you look into the DCF process DCF Canada
