Would the DO even know that they mailed the AOS Interview letter? Would they issue one in the spot? I greatly appriciate any input. Thanks

The district office should know because the interview will be there. How do you know the letter was sent? have you already had your biometrics? There was no email or change of my online status when the letter was sent out it just showed up.

I'm sorry, but your description is very very vague. how come that you know if it was already sent to you?

I know for sure, that it is a crime in this country to steal or open someones mail without a permission. Unless you have some kind of an enemy or a political antiimmigration group living next to you, so that they are ready to brake the law only to get you out of country, but it is very rear..

Therefore, I guess you have to either call the customer service or make an infopass of you definitely sure, that your interview letter was sent and now missing.. :(

best wishes..

Correct, online case status does not state when an interview notice is sent.

Indeed. I hadn't even had a touch in 6+ weeks when my interview letter showed up.

We were out of town and when we came back we realiezed we are missing some mail, and we called up the sources ( missing my AAA card) and they said that it was mail ed out already. So I spoke to my mailman an he said that I got something from USCIS also :help: But it was not in my mailbox. Regardless of what happened, I need to find a way to find out if it was my interview letter and if it is, then i need to get the new one. Do you think the DO would know if it was my interview letter and can they give me a new one

How long were you out of town for? Some mail will get returned (including mail from USCIS IIRC) if its left in the mailbox for more than 5 days. For this reason its a good idea to get USPS to hold you mail when you leave town for any period. It can be done for free online.

If you get an infopass you might ask them to call the NBC. They might be able to fax a copy of the interview letter to the DO.

Do infopass. Pretty sure they will give you a new one. If not ask for some paper that you have been there (infopass) and explained the problem. In the case if they will think that you are "no-show". Dont worry. It will not delay a lot (if any).
