K3 visa applied already and i-130 case# assigned from NVC

Hello everyone,

As mentioned previously i got packet for K3 directly from embassy and NVC was totally skipped,this happened because my i-129f was received a few days earlier at NVC than my i-130 so they forwarded it directly to embassy , today NVC issued a case # for my i-130 petetion as well, i have already submitted fees for K3, My question is what happens to My i-130 Petetion now since i am moving forward with K3. Will my wife still be able to use the same i-130 to adjust status once she arrive here on K3 or we have to file 1-130 again?

Yes, her approved I-130 will be used for her status adjustment. To what do you refer when you say you submitted fees for the K3? Do you mean you paid the visa application fee of $350 per the Consulate's instructions?

yes i have paid $350.00 to embassy plus submitted all the orignal documents which they asked for in packet 3.5, i had all the documents with me here in the U.S coz i was thinking to send them to NVC, but it happened the other way around so i sent her all the documents through fedex and she submitted them with visa fee to the embassy's courier service. would this i-130 will stay with NVC now or they will send it back to USCIS?

The I-130 will be retrieved by USCIS when she files to adjust status. Just let it sit until then. They'll handle it.

Nothing will be done with the I-130 - except that it'll be joined up with any I-485 petition that you submit to USCIS.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thank you guys.my next concern is AP. Do you know what is the ratio of females getting an AP after interview? I hope she dont get one.
