Hi all - I just received a notice saying that the FBI was unable to process my fingerprint card so I have to have them redone! And not till May 5th! Going to see if I can do a walk in.

At our interview in Montreal they had to do my prints several times, and I told the guy this last Tuesday hoping he'd take extra care, but no luck.

I've read this has happened to other members - anyone have any tips?

You probably won't be able to take any in, but the hand sanitizer often works. It will take the oils and anything that might be causing problems. They might have some there for you to use.

When I did mine in Aus for a class my hands WEREN'T sweaty enough and that makes reading them difficult. You should be able to take a little tube of moisturiser in... or they might have some on hand. Also mention how you had troubles before and that you would like to be extra careful

Thanks for the tips guys! Did a walk in this morning...same problem...they took them over and over so here's hoping they can use them this time...glad I didn't wait till the re-scheduled appt.
