I-130 APPROVED ! -NOVEMBER PETITINOER!

Finnallllllllllly got approved guys!November 17th it was my date.Good luck for all of you.Any advice how to speed it up.what i supose to do next?Should i have to send some papers from here(from my country) for the NVC case?

10/13/2010-marriage

11/15/2010-I-130 packet received

11/17/2010-notice date

11/23/2010-last update

04/08/2011-I-130 Approved

04/16/2011-received NOA2 hard copy

NVC:

22/04/2011-received NVC case number

to speed things up,,be sure to be prepared ahead of time for all the docus that needs to be submitted..try visiting the wiki's for instructions during the NVC stage.. :hehe:

Congrats, you passed the long part. Do exactly what Sweetieliam said and be prepared. It should not take you that long to hear from NVC, so be sure to have all of your documents together as well as tell your other half to have everything ready to roll.

On another note, know that NVC may NOT notify you through snail mail. This happened to me and I was waiting and waiting (after I paid the AOS fee online) and called them and found out that I was to just print everything off and follow the instructions from the cover letter. Fortunately, it didn't delay us bc the hubby was still gathering his documents (I should get them tomorrow.), but still.

NVC: 3/6/2011 approx.

No I-864, DS-230 Notification NVC says download files

Emailed Agent form: Response Confirming Change Arrived the Next Day

Mailed I-864 Package: 4/2/2011, Arrived 4/4/2011

DS-230 Received: 4/19/2011

RFE: 5/3/2011, emailed documents same day, email confirmation 5/4/2011

NVC Case Complete: 5/20/2011 (approx. called NVC and they said it was complete so don't know exact date)

Email with Instructions: 5/27/2011

Interview scheduled: 7/14/2011

Consulate had to reschedule, new interview 7/20/2011

APPROVED 7/20/2011

09/31/10:came back to states.

10/25/10: I-130 package mailed.

11/10/10: NOA1 recieved(I130)

11/16/10: Touched.

11/18/10: I129F package mailed.

12/02/10: NOA1 recieved(I129F)

12/31/10:Touched.

that is a long time. I submitted mine on February 15, 2011 and got approved on March 31, 2011 and I got delayed a little because I got an RFE. I cant wait to get the next package.
