Hey,

I have a question about the employment letter. The first one I have isn't really in the form that I have seen. By that I mean it just states my start date, job title, monthly and annual salary, and my first paycheck date. The second letter I have is more of the letter type but the difference is that it doesn't show my annual salary. Is it better to send the letter showing my annual salary or is the monthly salary good? Both are signed but I was just curious.

You have your NOA2 and preparing for the Interview. Your 2010 W2 will be required. If thats all good with Poverty Level Requirements. Thats a good start with the Consulate. Next is Currant Income. ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD and SIGNED by your Company, Send your fiance Paystubs that are Up-to-Date and go back as far as you can since 2011.

The First Letter is better. ( I'm sending my finacee W2s for 2008 and 2009 as well because it might be asked by the Consular)

Other Members will give you better advice than me, but it's a Start. GOODLUCK AT THE INTERVIEW!

Ok thanks. I have gotten my w2 for 2010, and also my co-sponsor just in case. I do make over the poverty level but I'm using a co-sponsor just in case. I have gotten tax transcripts for the past 3 years for my co-sponsor and for 2007 for me since I didn't work in 2008 and 2009 because of school.

I heard of you send tax transcripts you don't need w2. I that true?

I think that tax transcripts are fine and more preferred than a W-2. www.transcript IRS. or 1-800-908-9946 Or.. 1-800-829-1040

If your Income is above the level for 2010 and you proof of current income you should be fine. I don't think a Co-sponsor is accepted in the Philippines.

I admit, I don't know alot about what they will require.

Oh ok. It's just that my current job is above the poverty limit, but I only had it for 4 months so far. So in 2010 I had a different job that was under the poverty line. That's not going to be a problem will it because I do have a job above the poverty line now.

Current income is important. Include your employment letter and pay stubs.

If you don't know a lot about requirements, please don't offer any help as it would muddle everything. :bonk:
