So it's official!!! Mathew and I are moving to Fort Wayne, IN! He got the job offer today and he starts on May 9th. So we have a lot to get done in a short amount of time, but we're so happy that it's finally happened for him.

Only thing that bothers me though, is that this is the first time I'm moving out of mom's house and I'm terrified. Yeah, I went to college but it's not the same, because this was still my home. When I move to Indiana I'm going to be out on my own for the first time and it'll be 7 hours away. :(

You know what, you guys will love being on your own, setting up your first home together! A chance to flex you're awesome wifeness! I'm just excited for you thinking about it :) It's a bit of a move, but it sounds like an adventure and family can be so close now with Skype, good calling plans and it's always good to ensure you make concrete plan for when you'll go back to visit so you feel like you're looking forward to something.

Congratulations! Yes, moving can be both exciting and frustrating :yes: . Maybe your Mom can come and help you with the move so you don't feel such a sense of separation at first, and by the time you move into your own place you will be so busy with getting things the way you like them, it won't seem quite so difficult by then.

Great news!!! Congratulations to you both!!! You'll see that after the first couple weeks of initial shock of being out of your comfort zone, you'll be quite happy to be on your own with your hubby! New beginnings are great! Enjoy it! :thumbs:

Congrats to Mathew on the job!! :)

The first time I moved out of my moms house was when I moved to the US. That's more than a 24 hour drive from here... It was a little unsettling, but It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. It's nice to get out and start life on your own! You guys will do great! :)

Anthony used to live in Fort Wayne! He says there's tons of amazing restaurants and he always talks fondly of his time he lived there.
