Name on Airplane tickets

I am not sure if this is the correct section, but it looked to be the closest. So my wife received her K3 visa last year, and the name on the visa is her married name, or in other words, her name with my last name, but the name on her passport is her maiden name.

We are taking a trip down to Mexico in a couple of weeks to visit her family, and I bought the tickets and put the name that is on her passport, so her maiden name, which is shown on the first page of her Mexican Passport. Does anyone know if this will cause any problems when we are leaving the country? Do they check the visa page on the passport to check it against the ticket, or will they just check the name on the first page of her passport to make sure its the same as what is on the ticket.

Also, this is the first time that we have traveled out of the country since she got her visa.. Do they take the I-94 at the gate, or where do they do that?

Any suggestions/advice/insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you both very much for your answers. That is what I assumed, but I just wanted some assurance. I appreciate it.

Hello v'jers,

I'm having a vacation next month to Phils. and my husband put my married name on my ticket, but my passport is in my maiden name... Will this cause a problem? if it will... what documents can i bring with me... is the marriage license enough? thanks in advance.
