Delhi embassy appointment schedule.

Please take a look at Delhi embassy appointment schedule for june 2011. scroll down to page 7 you will find a case number with NWD2010743021.This case was approved on August 30, 2010(500 plus case number rule) and got their interview schedule in june.

PD of this case could be 2009 coz from my observation most of the cases with 2009 approval falls under 2007 priority dates ,First half of 2010 approval with 2008 PDs and later half of 2010 approval with 2009 PDs. If this case got scheduled in june there will be huge movement in next few months. I presume cut off date will jump to 2009 or 2010. What you guyz think. -

There are so many 2007 cases got approved in 2010.....!! I am assuiming 2010 PD will be back around Jan/feb 2012 for sure..!!!

how do you get the approval date?

Case number NWD2010743021 represents

NWD = New delhi

2010 = year that was approved

743 = 500 + 243rd day of year 2010 thats AUG 30

021 = 21st case of that day.

However, as the June 2010 VB is just 8/22/2007 for F2A (except Mexico), PD of the above-mentioned case must be earlier than that cut-off date, NOT 2009! From what I've learned from other forums, F2A should reach at least 3/8/08 in the July VB. Let's wait and see! Good luck to all!

Mine was approved in 3mos 28days from NOA1. Could they be improving their processing with regards to family based cases?

NO...! USCIS has been backlogged for decade, they just overcome to faster process like 5 months since last october. I hope it will stay same rest of the years.

Approval date and case completion dates are not that important in getting interview schedule.

Approval date generates your case number and case completion date for their system records.

Once your PD is close to cut off date you will get your interview letter. Thanks.

I guess that case completion date at NVC has effect on getting an interview because of the rule that immigration visa should be pursued within 1 year. Just like the guy from new Delhi who got an schedule for a June interview probably because his case is nearing 1 year on Aug 30 when his case was received. Does it make sense. Just my opinion.
