In 90 days bulletin moved 230 days. Lets say for every 100 days 250 days movement.

2.5 months on an average. Not that bad in retrogression.

It's about time!!!! The family-based immigration system for LPR is not only broken, outdated but inhumane. How do you expect overseas spouse to wait 4-5 years from aboard and not even allowing them to visit? Travel visa application (B2) for spouse with pending I130 is nearly impossible to get!

U.S. citizen's spouse doesn't have to wait for visa numbers. Even F1 or H1 visa holder can sponsor their spouse to come stay in the United States. Why can't LPR do the same? We're paying taxes just like USC! :protest:

I wholeheartedly support this Act, what I want to know is will this act be legalized? And more importantly, when will it make an impact for those F2A cases that are currently pending?

Can anyone lemme know how many LPRs are here on visa journey. I have observed when bulletin comes out every month around 20 to 25 members were always reading the thread. Does that mean 25 couples only ? and with this insignificant number how will we act upon the bill. Is there any way to reach out to these 450000 lprs.

Would you guys consider doing some action rather than sitting idle and waiting for bulletin.Just think how many couples has to go through this terrible phase in future as well who are not even aware of what retrogression can bring to their life.

First step is to collect data on how many LPRs are here and how we can reach out for the rest. Know it would be difficult but still we must give a try.

Let me explain the current situation.There are many websites people get access to immigration information. visajourney is one of the major website, unfortunately there is no connecting link between all the major and minor websites where people used to communicate n share ideas. If we create a common bridging platform where all people from different sites can share their views that would be a big stepping stone. If we keep on anticipating the cons there is no point in moving further. Ultimately,its for a good cause and we will get to know how many lprs are actually surfing the net.

To get a clear picture take the case of major social networking sites like facebook, myspace Hi5, friendster, bebo and orkut. If we closely examine whole world is now registered with FACEBOOK. but if take individually like my space for US, bebo for UK, orkut for brazil n india so on .....and the common connecting link is facebook.

You can hardly see any indian profile in bebo n any british profile in orkut. but you will see both of them in facebook.Similarly, bridge the major websites by creating a common platform with visajourney as the controlling head. just a suggestion only.

Another alternate solution is to keep on posting visajourney links on other websites and invite people here. i tried this earlier but within few minutes after my post the whole thing gets disappears from their website.

once the first step is complete next is to create online petition or paper petition and collect the signatures.may be some folks have done this before but not in a diligent way.

Everyone are born with same rights n freedom its really inhumane practice to torn apart families and put their future in uncertainity. So lets rise up,unite together and fight for our rights.

There's an existing website/platform dedicated to us (F2A community), that should give us a starting point instead of building from scratch.

I suggest syncing up with them, see what plans they have to raise awareness and make it real difference.

The more I think about my situation the more I think it's UNFAIR and INHUMANE!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone thinking about Naturalization should get done in 3 years instead long wait 5 years, I believe Canada, UK, or Australia has 3 years rule period, why can US don't??
