AR-11 with 751

We are getting ready to send in form 751 since my wife needs to remove conditions from her green card. The deadline for her is in Mid June. However, we just changed residences (a move of about 1 mile within the same town) back on March 17--about 21 days ago. Before we moved I called USCIS and asked if we needed to submit AR-11 since we are getting ready to send in 751 with our new address anyway. The guy actually talked like a real person and not like a robot reading from a piece of paper. He said there is no need for us to submit the AR-11--that the 751 would suffice. Then a couple of weeks later, after talking to some other people I began to question it. So I called USCIS back and they told me that I did need to do AR-11. Then I got a third opinion from USCIS and they confirmed that I needed to send AR-11.

But both of these women sounded like robots. They were just reading regulations from a piece of paper. But now that it has been well over 10 days, Im scared to submit the paperwork. I saw on the USCIS site that you can be fined or imprisoned for not reporting a move. So now Im not sure what to do. Im thinking about calling Holmes and Lolly--the company that helped us with the K1 process. Anyone have any advice? It irritated me that I got bad advice from USCIS the 1st time I called. Or did I?

I think that you will find many on VJ that have filed the AR-11 and I-865 late with no issues. IMO you should be fine.
