i am in the AP , now i am more depressed

Embassy and Consulate staff other than emergency/essential persons are sent home. Visas and interviews won't happen.

This is what the US State Department "Plan" calls for in case of a shut down, all State Department staff were given the document on Thursday. I have a family member who works there, so he said sadly the above.

You know no one knows for sure if it is going to happen. And if it does happen no one knows what is going to shut down and be still be running. So everything out there that you hear about this is just guessing. Until you know for sure what is going to happen you shouldn't do this as it will drive you crazy. The best thing we ALL can do is wait and pray for the best as there is nothing we can do about this as it is out of our hands.

انا فوجئت بالخبر دا زيك.... فعلا كدا مش معقول..امريكا بقى مالها يا رجالة..دا السفر لدبى اريح وارخص,,كان زمانى هناك وبشتغل بدل العطلة ووقف الحال دا

المشكلة دلوقتى كمان ان المظاهرات اللى بتطالب بمحاكمة مبارك رجعت فى التحرير اللى هو جنب السفارة عدل يعنى لو طولت مش بعيد يقفلوا السفارة تانى و لا حاجة

و شكلهم هايعدوا فى التحرير لغاية ما مبارك يتحاكم

انا قريت عن الموضوع فى بى بى سى عربية وعرفت انها متعلقة بالميزانية والخبر بيقول تعطيل بعض المصالح الحكومية مش كلها وانها حصلت قبل كدا لمدة 20 يوم وتسبتت فى خسائر مالية كثيرة لو جات على 20 يوم الله المستعان وممكن ميحصلش المشكلة بقى اية زى ما سمورى قال ودى الكارثة الكبرى ان السفارة جنب التحرير والمظاهرات سخنت ثانى ودة حظنا احنا الهباب انتم الحمدلله انكم عديتم اللهم مالك الحمد اننا اطمنا عليكم وانشاء الله ربنا يريح بالكم ويسمعكم خير المشكلة فينا احنا اللى ما اخدنا مواعيد اساسا
