Hey I need a little help here i received hard copy of NOA2 its mentioned that it went to Chennai Consulate that means it went directly to Indian Embassy ?

Why it dint go to NVC?

Can any one tell me about it

and i heard gov is gonna shut down tomorrow will it affect any visa process ?

If there is a Governement Shut down, NVC and Consulates will all be affected.......No work

It always goes to NVC first. The wording on NOA2 never ever mentions it. In a week or so (well if the gov doesn't shutdown) you can call NVC, Good Luck!

P.S. Last time government shutdown it was only for a week so hopefully not too long this time either.

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!
