An RFE delayed my greencard application by 6 weeks before it was finally received and sent back and resumed. I mailed our EAD application on the 12th of july and got a NOA on the 26th of june.I see now that the national benefits center are processing EAD applications from june 12th. Will it be only a week or so before i get my approval or will the rfe i got over the summer screw up things even further. I havent started looking yet or posted my resume on the jobsites but i may have two interviews already lined up. The problem is that i need my EAD first. My EAD application was last touched on the 31st of august after going 5 weeks since the last touch. I had my biometrics on the 25th of july.

I-751 - Removal of conditions

10-20-2008 - Sent package via usps - overnite mail

10-22-2008 - Package received and signed.

10-28-2008 - Cheque cashed

12-02-2008 - Biometrics in Boston

10-03-2009 - Transferred to CSV

10-04-2009 - 10 year GC on the way

Personal experience Yes RFE affects EAD.

Your EAD may well be delayed, but it also may not be. It depends from case to case. The fact that your EAD was touched before the long weekend should give you some hope that you'll be approved soon.

I hope so as i am going mad stuck at home alone all the time. I cannot drive so thats a double bummer. PLEASE PLEASE USCIS approve my EAD application. I am an honest, noble man who just wants to be able to work and help support my wife.

Count the number of days between your RD of the RFE, and their RD when they 'say' they got it back.

Typically, add that amount of time to your 90 days.
