I have a serious question. Mainly just because I'm curious. If for some reason he (or really any president) wasn't born in the US, but he really didn't know he wasn't born in the US, ####### would happen?

It would be grounds for impeachment. At the very least he would not be able to run for re-election. I am glad Trump is using his money for this and not mine.

If he genuinely believes in this birther nonsense, he is an idiot. His word is no more knowledgeable or authoritative on that subject than Charlie Sheen's

Good news for all. He uses his money to investigate and at the same time probably destroys any opportunity to be President himself. Win Win.

My feeling on this is simple. You have to be a citizen to get a passport to go skating in Parc LaFountaine in Montreal. You have to show your birth certificate (or naturalization)to do this because it is a requirement of getting a passport.

You have to be born in the USA or its territories to be eligible to be president. I think the documentation to meet the requirements should be the same as I had to show to go ice skating in Montreal. Or to get an I-129f approved.
