K-3 approved - now what?

Hi everyone,

My K-3 visa came through (took roughly 3 months) and am unsure what to do next. I saw in the Guides that I have to send stuff like the sponsorship documents, etc. to my wife.

Is there anything that I or she needs to do before? Also, how do I find out if our petition got forwarded to the embassy?

Sorry if this is all in the Guides somewhere, but I didn't find anymore details. Any help/guidance would be much appreciated!

EDIT: For the sponsoship form should I send the I-134 or the I-864? Thanks!

Also I've tried to post my timeline but for some reason the signature function isn't working...hopefully it is up though.

Point of clarification: your K-3 visa has not yet been applied for. Applying for it is your next step. The consulate will send the application materials to your wife when they receive the approved petition from the NVC. The NVC should send you a notice when they do this.

Oops - you're absolutely right Yodrak. I meant to say that my K-3 *petition* came through.

Just tried to post, yet again, my timeline and it doesn't seem to come through. Will try again from home.
