I sent our AOS petition on 3/25 and have not heard anything yet, no check cashed no notice in the mail. I tracked it to Chicago and it was delivered. But nothing yet. Are other people finding long wait times for response from AOS?

"no check cashed no notice in the mail" ? what do you mean? Did you send your AOS document along with check? I sent my AOS documents after my staus show paid for AOS fee. I think status has to be shown paid to send AOS documents.

No, Me and my wife --- completely different visa, completely different process. The OP is talking about an Adjustment of Status, not Affidavit of Support processing.

Kerry and Yulia, you don't mention how you sent it on 3/25 or when they actually received it.... but I wouldn't begin to worry yet. I know that you're anxious, but give it at least another week (assuming no government shutdown) before you begin to worry.

Yes, thank you. I am talking about the Adjustment of Status... I sent it on 3/25 to the Chicago lock box and through traking it showed delivered 3 days later. It just seemed like they cashed the K1 visa petition check within a few days. I will just be patient. I did forget we may be in the middle of the shutdown and it may take awhile. Thanks again.

Still nothing, we have not recieved an NOA and the check has not been cashed yet. I call on the phone and they say they cant do anything until it has been 30 days. I am seeing other people getting thier NOA's and checks cashed. What is going on? What happens when my ladies Visa expires?
