Kids passport still at Embassy

Well I sent my RFE to the Jamaica Embassy on the 31, they took my kids passport and told the person who I sent it with to go pay DHL. She received an airway bill tracking number and I went on the DHL website and it says "Shipment picked up, shipment on hold" this is from Friday of last week. Does anyone knows if something is wrong :unsure: ? Why do they take so long to either print the visa or send the passport back to DHL. Does anyone knows if this is standered procedure for the embassy and Dhl? I want my kids here with us for Easter am very anxius to see them.:help:

Unfortunately, there seems to be no rhyme or reason behind when they print the visas - some have gotten it in a few days, some it took a few months - did you try calling / emailing the embassy or DHL in Kingston?

Hey sus, I think they should put a system in place where we can call and find out, you know like info pass, its really madness they are going on with. My hubby sent them an email last night asking whats the hold up, we have not received anything back yet.
