Please help me with this..i have contacted my congressman and told him to help so my case will be approved..all of a sudden he e mailed me back and to me that they said the receipt number i have provided does not show in their system as an i 130..please what do i do..i really need help.

FAX a copy of the NOA1 to the congressman.

Usually the reason this happens is due to typographical or other communication error as to the correct receipt/case number. Faxing the actual notice will clear this up.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Hi,my problem is i i filled for my husband for k3 in may last year and received NOA1 somewhere July... and my case later went to TEXAS SERVICE CENTER,my case statues changes to post card production,and later again changed to employment authorization approved, and i got an RFE which i did and sent it back to them,i have waited for about 7 month now since my NOA1 and i have not head,when i contacted my congressman he told me that they said the receipt number i have provided is not for I 130,am totally confused..they said i have to provide a case number,where can i get the case number,please i only have the receipt number ,please i really need your help.

Did you fax the NOA1 so they can make sure they typed the number right, and maybe show to to someone else (maybe you got a 0 and a O confused or something)? Did you contact both senator and congressman? You may need to make an infopass appointment, as the online status does not correspond to what you should have.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
