Whewww...Thanks! We already lost a precious 2 weeks because, for some reason known only to USCIS, Nebraska center (Which is the center for Wyoming) sent our I-130 package to California to be processed

Best of Luck!

Sincerely!

Bernie, you did not lose any time. Nebraksa always sends I-130 petition to California for processing. California sends NOA-1 (Initial receipt Notice) and NOA-2 (The Approval).

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

True! The NOA1 you get from your I-130 Service center when they look at/put your names in the computer from the initial I-130/G-325A. The NOA2, if I've read right, is what you get when they approve the initial I-130/G-325A. You do send a copy of the NOA1 with the signed I-129F/new G-325As, along with copies of basically everything you sent in with the I-130 package(I sent a copy of everything except copies of I-130's G-325A-What they don't want-they will thow-away).

Best of Luck!

Sincerely!

Bernie

 I had no idea! Do you know by chance why they have us send the package to NSC which covers our area, versus straight to the CSC? I never found any mention of this on the USCIS site.

Best of Luck!

Sincerely!

Bernie
