this is like a joke everyday of the year you keep hearing about the same #######. no benefit at all for the ordinary americans, economy,jobs,debt and so many other issues that require attention but this Government shutdown topic has turned into the biggest news. Time for the US to have a third party and end the two party system.

US rejected Whitehall-style system of "parent" UK (which is generally suitable for two-party system), and created a 3-tier system (House, Senate and President) uniquely suited to more than two parties. Absolutely inexplicable why US wound up with two-parties (for which its system isn't well suited) and UK (as well as many erstwhile colonies) wound up with lots more (for which Whitehall-style system has potential--oft delivered-on, as in India for last 15 years--for trouble, and US system is remarkably well-desinged)!

BTW, you should have made your poll with another choice "I'll decide at election time".
