Like Darnell already said, some states have laws against recording voice, video, or other electronics stuff without the consent of the party involved. Good luck.

What I don't understand is the original poster has obviously made up their mind that this is the case and they are going to take some action, so why are they posting here. People are answering their questions, but it seems they don't like the answer so they try to convince us here that the woman did commit some kind of fraud and they are going to report them. Well good on you, go ahead and report them and let the chips fall where they may. Trying to convince people here on VJ of the situation doesn't accomplish anything.

that's not fraud, at all - it's an immigration benefit for being married more than 2 years prior to the POE date.

Definitely something really fishy about this post. I'm just going to stay put of it, though definitely my slight and somewhat disturbing amusement for the day.

I'm not saying I am pro fraud especially with all of us whom truly do love our spouse and suffer those long separations but this post reaks of a weird revenge thingy.

What set people off is your tone, in topic title "She Should Be Made to PAY!!!", profile name "Mad As Hell" and general tone in all responses.

Sorry, but the vast majority of posters on this forum are all about doing the right thing with regard's to immigrations, I for one get "Mad As Hell" with regards to people trying to cut the system, and do things like abusing tourist and VWP as if it were another fiancee visa type.

If what Darnell surmised is your friend is simply waiting until after 2 years of marriage before using a spouse visa to enter the USA, this is NOT illegal, if it were, then the consulate would simply shortened the visa's expiration to happen prior to 2 years of marriage, they did not. If this is what is annoying your, PLEASE research this on USCIS and Travel.State.Gov and please find where this is illegal.
