That won't happen. What exactly is the larger disagreement according to the Republicans? The more time they waste on the remaining months of FY 2011, the less time they will have to fight the fight they're setting up for FY 2012 and beyond. Whether spending is cut 33bn or 39bn or anything in between or slightly above or below matters not one bit. It's a fraction of a percent of the budget and will neither make or brake the bank. It's irrelevant. The damage that the forced shut-down will cause to the economy will be multiples of whatever difference there might be. And the GOP will get the heat for it. Let 'em have it.

I beg to differ. I believe the government will shut down and then eventually collapse thus ending the United States of America as we know. Also I don't think anyone after next week will ever get a visa to the USA. The visa process as we know it is over for good.
