FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!!!!, My wife had her interview yesterday in Newark. Everything went greast. Officer was very thorough, however it felt like talking to your friend about our marriage/relationship. No stress at all. She told my wife you are approved and offered her congratulations. Today, I received my email. YES card production. Thanks to all here on VJ, this site proved great. Best of luck to all the april filers who are still waiting on a response. I trust we will have 100% approvals.

I'm guessing you might get GC in hand by now? Congrats:):):) let's keep company here till all April filers get approved!

Still nothing here as well... it's been nearly three months since work and travel authorization came through, and we were transferred to CSC, I really expected we'd have GC in hand by now!

So does anyone have a clue as to why there are those of us who were transferred 3-4 months ago to CSC as to why we have not heard anything as far as even an interview date or green card. Many here got there green cards a month after there EAD card arrived. When you call the hotline they just say it could take up to six months call back then.

Luckily my husband just passed his driver's test and received his license but there are many who cannot even work with there EAD card if they cannot drive to work, so what is the dang point of having and EAD card if you cant get to work.

Got the notice of approval 8/19. The website had stated card production, but now it doesn't anymore.

One month later, still no GC

Got this back from the USCIS

On 8/19/11, we created a Permanent Resident Card for you and mailed it to the address we had on file at that time. You have notified us that you have not received it and the post office has not returned it to us. We must conclude that it has been lost in the mail. Therefore, you will need to file a Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card. You can download this form on our website www.uscis.gov. You can also file this form electronically on our website. Please follow the instructions on the form. In the future, if you change your address please contact customer service at the number provided below.

yeah, from what I read a bunch of people who got transferred to CSC are getting screwed and those of us who got interviews got the GC a lot faster!

FWIW I got sent a GC that expired in 2009 and had to file an i-90... they received it 1.5 weeks ago via USPS and no NOA for the i-90

Well LOL it's been 6 months on the 23rd of this month and no touches at all since transferred to CSC so I guess I thought I was the only one left but glad to here that there someone left in April still waiting with me, don't feel so bad now as I thought they may have just lost our file.

Well LOL it's been 6 months on the 23rd of this month and no touches at all since transferred to CSC so I guess I thought I was the only one left but glad to here that there someone left in April still waiting with me, don't feel so bad now as I thought they may have just lost our file.

After 4+ months, I did my weekly check of the USCIS site, and now it says they mailed us an RFE on November 9! What the hell?! We had an RFE back in May, answered it, they approved his work and travel and sent our case to California Service Center... I have no idea what in the world this RFE could be for, but I'm already agitated about it!

It's been ages since I've posted on here! How is everyone doing??? How has being a permanent resident been for you?

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)
