YAY! AOS finally approved. *phew* card production was ordered today (8/9 - my country's birthday!).

how long did those who were approved earlier wait for their GCs in the mail?

for those still waiting, hang in there!

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Congrats!, we are finally getting down to 100% approval. I am here patiently counting down the days to my wife's interview on 8/23/2011. I am more anxious than her. I cant wait to get it over with. I am confident however that we will have everything in place that would need for approval.

My GC approved today without interview (L)

4months and 5days total, 1month and 3weeks after RFE response, 1month 4days after CSC transfer, which is not too bad at all :) I am just sooooo happy :D

Just had an interview yesterday at NYC office (Federal Plaza).

Went in at around 1:00 for 1:45 appointment, and we were called at 2:30....

The officer asked us so many questions (sometimes so much in details), but she was overall very friendly and nice.

We were done little after 3. The officer wrote something on my passport and took I-94 away.

Within an hour/hour and a half of finishing the interview, we received Case Status Update email saying that

the card is in production (for I-485)!!!!!

I checked the case status online as well, but the last updates for I-130 still shows May.

Is it OK? Everyone who already got the card, did the case status of I-130 get updated after interview?

Adjustment of status from F-1 to Permanent Resident

12/09/2011: Got married at City Hall in NYC

04/25/2011: I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131 sent

04/27/2011: Delivered

05/03/2011: Received texts/emails for I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131

05/03/2011: Check cashed

05/07/2011: Received NOA hard copies for I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131

05/09/2011: Received Biometrics appointment letter (app for 05/31)

05/31/2011: Biometrics done

06/11/2011: Received EAD/AP card in mail

07/08/2011: Email notification about interview letter

07/11/2011: Received interview appointment letter - interview date 8/15

I hope everything went good for you after all, give us some update:)

Sorry for the delay, but it started to pour like crazy in Boston and I lost internet .. then I just got to be real lazy!

We ended up sitting until about noon for a 9:45 am appointment. The room filled up and emptied like 3 times before we finally got called in. The lady up front said it was because everyone had different reasons to be there. Yeah right.

We go in, the guy basically goes over the i-485 form making sure everything is correct. The only time he acknowledged my existence was when he asked for my passport to photocopy.

5 min into the interview he said "well you app was already approved so this is a formality" and then said "if you need your passport stamped get an infopass appt"

stamped the app approved, and hi-ho hi-ho off we went!

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!!!!, My wife had her interview yesterday in Newark. Everything went greast. Officer was very thorough, however it felt like talking to your friend about our marriage/relationship. No stress at all. She told my wife you are approved and offered her congratulations. Today, I received my email. YES card production. Thanks to all here on VJ, this site proved great. Best of luck to all the april filers who are still waiting on a response. I trust we will have 100% approvals.

Still waiting and no touches since our case was transferred to CSC 3 months ago today.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I honestly don't understand how it's so difficult for them to approve all applications in order... Some takes a month, others wait 2-3months or even longer:( so as NOA.
