Wow! Congratz MBH got approved my EAD today too

Our case status has now officially entered the Confused mode, where each day it says they mailed us notice/ordered production of the card on THIS day, not the days they said it before. I'm glad I know from the forums here that's to be expected, and can just focus on waiting for the mail to arrive!

Finally, my EAD got approved!! Status on card/document production YAY!!!!! It took us almost 3months because of RFE.

No CSC transfer... Hopefully I get a intervew date set up soon:)

CONGRATS! Was the RFE for your I-765 or I-485? USCIS told me that an RFE for a pending I-485 does not slow down/affect the approval time for a I-765 since they are separate applications.

My I-485 RFE letter said that I-765 was gonna be processed in about 60 days after they received my RFE response. So I guess it puts 765 on hold...

CONGRATS! Was the RFE for your I-765 or I-485? USCIS told me that an RFE for a pending I-485 does not slow down/affect the approval time for a I-765 since they are separate applications.

My RFE was for I-485, asked for supporting tax documents.

But the letter says

"The servise will process your Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization within 90days of the receipt of your missing initial evidence." So I am almost sure that they held my case till the response? But there are some people who got their EAD approved without RFE response. It might be case by case. MYSTERIOUS!!!

And mine says within 90days. So unfair... lol we both got approved thats all matter:) Congrats to you!

Case status update...FINALLY! Just received an email that USCIS has sent an appointment notice

for an interview on Aug.15th!!!! It's been more than a month since biometrics was done.

My I130 has not been touched since May, but I got an appointment for I485, is this normal?

Well from your timeline, your EAD was approved yesterday and that was well within 2 months of you applying and sending in your RFE..thus, i still think that the RFE did not affect your EAD approval time.

The interview was great, we took loads of photos and all our evidence and they didnt look at a thing, asked how we met. How many times i have been here, and how many times my wife had visited the uk? Asked if i had family here and asked about my wifes family. Said it was Approved, gave us a notice ref the next stage I 751, so nothing to do until 2013.

So how many people who had an interview got their passports stamped?

Also, anyone know how many April filers are left to get the i-485 approved? I am still waiting for some sort of action (either interview or approval)
