We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Oct 03, 2011 - Finally got the damn GC, except they put issue date 2007, expiration 2009 instead of issue 2011 expiration 2013. Rather than reissue the damn thing, they sent an i-90 form to complete and request a new one! Why?

Okay, so June 29th was when I got the notices for registering as a permanent resident and card production, and today it went to post-decision activity and the notice that said "we have approved this I-485 petition and mailed you etc.." So do you think they mailed my GC last Wednesday or just today? I am only asking because hubby and I are leaving for 3 weeks to Georgia on Thursday and I'd really like to have and hold the GC before I go.. it would suck to wait three weeks to see it. I am not worried about the address coz we live with my in-laws..:) I am really hoping that it comes by Tues or Wed.. :)

ITS DONE!! I AM DONE!!! ON JUNE 29TH WE HAVE REGISTERED YOUR PR STATUS!!! OMG!!! :) Yay!!! I want to cry!!! I can't believe it :)

Outstanding MBH! Congratulations! Three weeks was within my estimate, but I am surprised it did take that long. They must be getting backlogged again.

MBH I think you should have by Tuesday or Wed. Mine came after a week of the first notification. I was worried too that with all of their weird emails it would come after the last notification, but it didn't take long at all. So, you will probably get it before you guys leave.

Congrats everyone. I'm happy that it seems like the AOS -> GC is about 3-4 months. My fiance and I were planning on doing an Advanced Parole (still are), but it actually may be just easier to stay in the US to get the GC before coming back to Cebu.

Hey! What part of your visajourney are you at? It is definitely ok to travel on AP BUT only if you have a pending I-485 as well, I don't think you can travel on AP alone.. But yeah if you can wait for the GC even better because from what I've seen they are approved about a month apart, and you never know, you might have an interview for it.. And feel free to ask any questions here at the April filers thread, we are all nice! :P

Got my GC in the mail today!!! What does CF1 category mean? Also, I was approved June 29th, but it says Resident since June 17th???

CF1 means adjusted based on a marriage after entering as a fiance or fiancee of a U.S. citizen - conditional (C for conditional, F for fiance and 1 as in K-1; K-2 child would be CF2).

My Immigration Journey:
