Got a very special text/email notification on Friday (6/24).

EAD Card/ Document Production (text/email) ---- Woot!!! We are very happy, it seemed like it took forever since we haven't heard anything in about a month. Interview is this Thursday already. :thumbs:

4/27 - Sent AOS packet via FedEx Overnight

4/28 - Delivered (Signed by S. Bush)

5/4 - Checks cashed

5/4 - 3 NOA's (text & email)

5/7 - 3 NOA hard copies received

5/10 - Biometrics Apt letter received (set for 6/1 in Houston, TX)

5/13 - Successful Biometrics walk-in (Houston, TX)

5/26 - Testing and interview set for 6/30

6/24 - EAD Card/ Document Production (text/email)

6/30 - Interview ---- GC Approved

7/1 - GC Card/Document Production (text/email)

7/7 - Welcome letter received

7/11 - Green Card in Hand!!

Approved in 64 DAYS!!!!!

I received my Green Card today! :dance: So glad to be done with USCIS for a while but I will keep checking this thread to see how my fellow April filers are doing! :) Good luck everyone, wish you all a speedy processing!

Hi everyone!:blush: Our interview in SF last friday was very quick and painless.We were only asked how the 2 of us met and the IO officer reviewed the I485 app with Dex.We brought all our wedding album and lots of pictures/mails/cards/joint accts print outs but we werent even ask for any.Not even one.:no: and Dex EAD card arrived Saturday!:thumbs:

05-12-11:Successful walk in biometrics

05-25-11:email notification received stating interview on 6/24

05-27-11:hardcopy for interview received

06-24-11:done with interview.no approval yet

Our interview, was scheduled on July 26, but we just received a letter from USCIS saying;

"This is to advise you that due to unforeseen circumstances we have canceled the previously scheduled interview on ... We regret any inconvenience this may cause. You will be notified of any further action taken on this case, including rescheduled interview information, under separate notice."

Any idea, why they canceled our interview?

Could be many reasons. Maybe they are having technical issues at the office, short on staff etc. There were a lot of cancelations like this in winter due to snow. I wouldn't worry about it, I'm sure they will send you a new appointment letter soon but most likely scheduled later than original appointment date.

Ok, but it's one month away. I understand if they canceled 1 week before the interview. Maybe they found something they didn't like

You mean something they didn't like in your application? If there was something missing, they would have sent you RFE. If they don't like something, they will ask you about it at the interview, that's why interviews are for.

Congrats to all who have received positive responses so far. I have recently responded to my RFE, which they received on 6/24. Hope to hear something very soon. Let us continue to keep each others company until we all are approved.

On June 27, 2011, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location

Now, we wait. I searched and didn't get a solid response as to what that means, but I guess we are going to have to go in for an interview or they didn't like what I sent in the RFE
