Thanks! You and the rest of April filers will get it soon too! :)

I really hope so.. A part of me is trying to stay positive and another part is just paranoid and losing hope! I really can't wait for this to be over :) If only I could be happy with the EAD but my school won't let me study with it, so I really need the GC. And with my hubby deploying, I would realllly like to go to grad school so I can keep myself busy. Hope it comes soon for everyone else waiting. I know we all have our stories and our own reasons for needing it, so I am keeping everyone in my thoughts, especially those who had to deal with RFE's and other unfortunate setbacks!

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

I know how you feel. I was so anxious and worried that something would be wrong with my I-693 and they would send me RFE so now that I'm approved I'm really relieved. Don't lose hope, it's coming any day now!! :)

Good luck to everyone still waiting and I hope all April filers get approved or at least interviews scheduled by the end of June! :star:

That sounds like such an interesting topic! I've been wondering lately if I should go to graduate school after I receive my Bachelors; I think it would be awesome if I had the discipline to get my doctorate. :P

Good luck!

Hi all again., congrats to those just receiving there GC and EAD and AP's.

Today has been 14 days since they said we were approved and were sending you out a letter of approval for AP and EAD. I called USCIS today and enquired on our case status as we still have not received anything via mail. The lady looked into our case and confirmed the dates sent out and said unsure of why you have not received it. I asked out our I485 and she said according to your State, Cincinnati, Ohio they are still processing files for November 2010................. UGGGGG does that mean what I think it means.............. We have a long wait ahead of us even thou our case was transferred to CSC for speedy process, heck this is no speedy process in my opinion. She said you have to wait the 30 days and if you still don't have it then plz. call again.

Honestly, there is no way it takes over 6 days to get here and its been 14 going on 15 days since processed and card production was checked. Oh well, anyways, gonna take some more deep breaths and just wait.

Have a Happy Day........

Ooh that's brilliant!

Yeah I do think it would be great to be involved in the development of new and innovative technologies, as opposed to just working in the field. :D
