AOS April 2011 filers!!!!!!

I don't know about mail forwarding but I know that it is returned back to USCIS when it can't be delivered.

It's day 30 so call USCIS. Did you send form G-1145 with the packet so you will at least get your case number in text/email?

Called USCIS, they said that we had to call back on monday because it has to be 'over' 30 days

I did send out that form, no email as of yet, but the cell # has been changed, so I am not expecting a text message and hopefully that doesn't cause any issues!

Ahh bummer! I wonder why?? Im sure it will be an easy fix though and you're right, glad it came this soon!

Well, we got our TWO RFEs in the mail finally... one asking for proof that my father (our co-sponsor) is a US citizen, no problem (although they didn't actually ask for this in the I-864 instructions, unless I missed it on several checklists... I actually thought this was kind of strange, since they required it for the I-134, but we have it and can send it in, no big deal). The other one, though, is really driving me crazy: they said the date on our I-693 is not within a year of our I-485 filing, when it is! I posted about it in the AOS forum and if anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it!

march 31,2011= sent aos

april 1,2011= chicago recieved

may 3,2011= recieved text/ email

may 6,2011= noa1 ead/ aos

may 16,2011= recieved biometrics letter

june 8,2011= appointment of biometrics

may 20,2011= RECIEVED LETTER" TRANSFER TO CSC"

God is good! Just got the text and e-mail regarding AOS from USCIS. Card production was ordered on May 23!!!

Just a brief summary to all April filers:

4/5 NOA 1 official USCIS receipt date

4/19 case tranferred to CSC

5/20 EAD and AP approved

5/23 AOS card production ordered (APPROVED!)

All in all approval came in one month after being transferred to CSC.

Goodluck to everone who's still waiting! USCIS seems to be churning through applications right now! I hope most of you will get the same processing times.

Hi everyone! Just received email from USCIS regarding Dex application to adjust for permanent residence.It says in the letter that they mailed us a notice for an interview.I guess his papers were not transferred to CSC?Its just weird coz we are here in Cali.Hmmn...Anyweiz, He's sched for 6/24 . I'll keep u guys updated once we received the hardcopy mail. And i totally agree walkins for biometrics does make a difference, coz he is actually sched for today for the biometrics but since he did that 2 weeks ago they were able to process his papers and now just received the interview notice.
