i am very confused! i live in phoenix, az, why would they schedule us for an interview at NBC? isn't that in Missouri? :bonk:

On May 17, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for June 21, 2011, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice.

No worries... the NBC in Missouri is just the "handler" for the field offices. When your appointment notice arrives in the mail it will list your local field office.

I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

We got an RFE on our I-485 :( I am pretty sure it's for the medical stuff since we took the chance and didn't go to a new civil surgeon when we got to the US.

This isn't going to have any affect on the EAD / AP correct?

From what I know, everything stalls during an RFE.. The good news is that its such an easy fix. Don't worry and keep us updated :) how did you find out???

Aw that's not good!

I just randomly went to check our case status on the website and for the I-485 it said they had mailed us a request for initial evidence on the 16th. Since it said "initial" and not "additional" maybe it's something different than what I am thinking?

And we still haven't received our Biometrics letter yet.

Yeah, I wish they'd hurry up on the EADs.. I'm really hoping that some April filers will be approved this month..

I wish I had some news, but my EAD/AP hasn't been touched since 4/9 and my AOS since 5/2.

Nothing we can do now but be patient.. :)

that is true, but just weird that they will send an EAD card when the interview is in a month. my case was last touched 4/15 and just today, so yours was transferred to california :dance: and might not have an interview for sure.

I was checking my case status and found out that the RFE is mailed yeasterday;( I hope its something easy to fix... We'll see.

Good news is I got biometrics appointment letter is scheduled on May 27th.
