Question: How do you know where these are being transferred? I received 3 email notifications saying our application was received and being routed to the "National Service Center". I have no idea which forms each one pertained to (3 different case numbers not yet in the system) and where they were sending them. Did you just find out when receiving the hard copy notice?

All aplications are sent to National Benefits Center. Some AOS applications are then transferred to CSC and if they transfer yours, they will send you another notice of action, leting you know that it was transferred. If they don't transfer it to CSC, it will be sent to your local office where you will have your interview.

So maybe doing a walk-in for biometrics slightly speeds up processing of your case. Because my Biometrics app was for today, but since I already had my fingerprints and photo taken, they can work on my application. Case in point, they transfered my case!. I'd had to wait another week or two for it to be transfered if I had my biometrics done today.

It's not much of a difference, but in this process every day counts!!!!

Congrats!!! Same thing happened to me, case was transferred to CSC a week after biometrics walk-in.. But there are also cases where it was transferred before biometrics.. I don't know, at this point, we can just wait :)

I am a little frustrated though because my EAD/AP hasn't been touched since 4/9.. its already 5/16! lol.. It doesn't really matter for me though since I don't plan to work (I'm going to grad school this fall) so I'm more anxious about the GC. Hope we hear good news soon!!! I know we all just want to get on with our lives, so I'm excited for all of us to get our GCs. :)
