Also, how long does it take for someone to have their Biometrics captured at a Application Support Center.

Thank You !

I am fine with waiting, the problem is that we are leaving Las Vegas on May 23 and can't file for change of address until we get a receipt number for the case.

That is going to be pushing it since we don't get the new place until June 7th and can't forward mail until then. So if the paper arrives between May 23 and June 7, I am screwed.

I hope you get it in the next 10 days but if you don't, is there anyone at your present address (friend, neighbor, apartment owner) that could check mail for you and forward it to your new address?

From the USCIS web site:

Q : What is the National Benefits Center?

The National Benefits Center was originally created as the Missouri Service

Center (MSC), which was set up to process applications associated with the LIFE

Act. On April 16, 2003, USCIS Director Aguirre approved the transition of the

Missouri Service Center (MSC) into the National Benefits Center (NBC), which

greatly expanded the scope of the Center’s operations. The NBC was primarily

established to serve as the hub and conduit for all USCIS field offices by

completing pre-interview processing of Forms generally requiring an interview.

However, evidence of our origin remains, as all Forms receipted by the NBC still

bear the receipt number prefix of “MSC.”

Got the NOA on 4/12 for I-485. (4/12 is the date printed on NOA. It arrived in the mail on 4/18.) It's been 30 days and still not have received appointment for biometrics.

I am a bit concerned... Should I contact USCIS now or wait a bit longer?

Why wait, contact them now and make an infopass appointment as well :)
