Biometrics letter appointment arrived today scheduled for May 25th, but did an infopass appointment already for May 10th, we'll do a walk in tomorrow while hubby is still here.

Didn't do much for me, I went three weeks earlier than the supposed schedule.

I called today, got a representative who says that it is still not in the system and has not been processed yet. I know something is wrong at this point. I willl continue to pray and hope however. Please do not leave me here alone guys. I will call again on Friday.

We received our NOA hardcopies in the mail today, but when I try to check case status on the USCIS website, there's still no record of our receipt numbers in their system. Is this normal?

we will keep this thread alive until everyone has their green cards. I am praying for you, I know how agonizing it must be but have faith, i don't see why it would be lost.. maybe wait a week more then file again? if you used a check then cancel that check that way even if they find your previous file they will return it anyway because that check wont be cashed.

Yes it is. Don't worry. Not everyone can check their case status and to be honest, I think its better off that way. I obsessively check for touches and its just so dumb coz my EAD/AP has not been touched since 4/6 and its just so stressful to see. lol

Sometimes it takes a few days for cases to appear online. Check again in a few days and it will be there. If it's not, like messybrownhair said, sometimes they don't appear online at all. Nothing to worry about. All that matters is that you got NOA.

Biometrics 05.26.2011, 9 AM - Denver;

We will just keep the appointment given to us;

We think things are going smoothly.

Yes, it was a relief! I will just wait because I don't know if walk-ins are allowed at my local office. I'm not really in a hurry so I can wait a couple weeks longer.
