Not talking about removing conditions from a 2 year green-card.

Moving to the K-1 forum.

Yes US citizen can mail the petition to the USA to the center that has jurisdiction over where the US Citizen has domicile in the USA.

OR can simply marry over there and file for a spouse visa which would be much less expensive, if citizen has residency over seas, and has been resident more than 6 months overseas, can simply file for a CR-1 spouse visa at the US consulate where they are resident.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Yes - defintiely. We filed from abroad.

Be mindful that he will need to show that he will need to show that he can support you, etc. when it comes to the I-134 stage. No problem with filing abroad though.

Hi,may i ask if the US CITIZEN can file a petition even if he is not in his country?like,he is a US CITIZEN but he is in the philippines now and wants to file a fiancee visa from here.

NOT that good of an idea to mail from PI as mail does get lost. Probably almost as fast to take with you if you're not staying to long. Definitely saver.

NOT that good of an idea to mail from PI as mail does get lost. Probably almost as fast to take with you if you're not staying to long. Definitely saver.

Can always use FED-EX, UPS, or other Currier service, and use the physical address of the service center as spelled out in the form's directions.

Yes we did that while he is here in the Philippines last year and we just used FedEx sending the papers to USCIS.. not a problem.. we just waiting for our NOA2 this time...goodluck :thumbs:

how much it cost for spouse visa and how long it takes?is it qualified even we're just renting an apartment?
