The TSA has to be the biggest bunch of pr*cks going these days..them and Homeland Idiots. A bunch of wannabee Don Door Knockers who couldn't make it as a cop yet they had a clean record, got hired and went on a power trip. These are the same pr*cks who couldn't get a date for the prom for the fact they were chumps in school so now they have a hard one against everyone they deem happy with their life. Screw TSA.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

the TSA isn't mandated. The TSA is the 'filler' technically if an airport does not wish to provide their own security.

Private security firms are allowed, so long as they abide by the law set forth in the ATSA. The security company must prove to the under secretary that they are indeed following the law, but that's about it.

The TSA doesn't get to change the rules and laws on a whim though. You can't change security mandates/laws without an act of congress. We don't work that way in this country.

You've got it backwards. The TSA is mandated by the law. An airport can apply to have a private security company do the screening to "technically" be the "filler" for the TSA under the security screening opt-out program of Section 44920 of Title 49 of the U.S. Code. Even then there will still be TSA officers at the airport supervising the private security firm to make sure they follow the TSA rules and regulations.

Isn't the Libyan campaign more or less over? We already pulled our attack planes

out of the international air campaign, and stopped firing Tomahawk cruise missiles.

The navy ships and subs armed with Tomahawks are still in the Mediterranean, but

that's about it.

The campaign may be over for now, but unless Gadafi steps down the position of the rebels can't and will not change. I don't see Gadafi stepping down, he has all the cards to play the waiting game.

sexist.

Idiotic comment.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

that's my thought too - maybe you don't know what that means.

Charles, forget it it, I'm not playing. #######'s up is not sexist, UK English speakers use it all the time to mean something has gone pear shaped. That's the last time I am addressing this non issue. Go play with someone who cares.

I have no idea why I put an apostrophe in tits up - that's unforgivable!
