Hello everyone

I got my daughter, boyfriend and grandaughter arriving into Toronto then Charlotte for 6 week visit. This is the first time I will see my grandaugher, so I'm really excited in seeing her.

This will be the first time all 3 have been to the states for a visit. Their obviously nervous as this is their first trip abroad plus their very young (21,19 and 10 months old)

Should everything be ok at immigration which will be in Toronto as I don't want US Border Patrol thinking any immigration intent?

I'm sure everything will be ok but it plays on my mind as I'm going through AOS process. They all did the ESTA which was cleared.

Thanks

The US Border Agents have no say who the Canadians choose to accept. Do they have a US Visa..? They cant just drive/fly across as they please

We were told by Air Canada that they will go through US immigration in Toronto then they catch a connecting flight to Charlotte NC. They are flying from Heathrow UK

You are correct. It's a pre-clearance area. I wouldn't worry. Good luck.
