i am waiting for nvc to forward my case to the consulate .. so my question is .. is it possible that i call up the consulate and collect my packet 3 directly from the consulate ? and then i can fill up all the forms and directly submit the forms and documents to the consulate .. so that i can save time .

its a nice attempt to speed up things, but unfortunately due to the volume of applicants, i dont think they'll let you do that. you can certainly call them and ask, but i think it might end up being an exercise in futility. good luck!

NO.....but you can download the forms from the Embassy website start filling them out. Then once you do get the packet, then you can turn them around very quick.

That was what i did. I have all the forms and completed them once we got the NVC case number. I had Medical Check up as well by then. So when i got the packet 3 from embassy, i replied it directly on the same date even time. They were so shocked.

Just make sure u have the valid version of the forms.
