Quick question about the DS 230 part 1: my fiance is divorced. I know this may sound silly, but does he list his ex-wife as spouse (meaning: are they asking to list any previous spouses)? I realize he isn't currently married and he does have his divorce decree. I'm thinking this is just for current spouses such as people applying for a CR-1 visa. I thought we should say "N/A". The example forms on the site are outdated and don't include this question. Any help would be welcome! Thanks!

No, it is just asking about the current spouse, if any. Obviously he will check "divorced" for the earlier question on the form. He will already have listed his ex-wife on the G-325a you filed with the I-129F, and they don't ask again.

Thanks for the clarification! I just wanted to make sure because they do ask for ex-wife info on the 156 and 156K. Those forms are more specific with their wording, unlike the DS 230...
