Anyone else finding the site slow this evening?

I've noticed that the site seems to be slow tonight for me - pages take about 2 to 3 times longer than normal to load. I am wondering if it is the site or if it is at my end, so is anyone else having a similar problem?

At In laws on my laptop and all appears normal!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

seems fine here. Are you noticing similar issues with other sites you visit? If so, the issue is on your end, or at least closer to your end.

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

Friends tell me that if ur surfing XXX sites and do not clear ur cache, really slows things down!!

Thanks - it must have been at our end. My husband installed a new, faster router for our in-house network and he wasn't having any problems but I was. Re-booting didn't help but today things were back to normal.

Sounds like he tuned the network to his advantage, thinking you wouldn't notice, but you did, so he had to throttle you back up a little. :whistle:
